HOLYOKE, MA, December 14th, 2023 – Clean Crop Technologies (“Clean Crop”) is a Holyoke, Massachusetts-based company that uses electricity to fight food waste and food safety risk. Clean Crop is thrilled to announce the appointment of Justin Frankert to serve as an Independent Director on the Board.

Frankert joins fellow board members cofounders Dan White and Daniel Cavanaugh and investors Amy Duffuor of Prime Impact Fund and Dan Fitzgerald of Regen Ventures.
Dedicating his career to technology-centric roles, Frankert has accumulated extensive experience in industrial automation and robotics, spanning software and hardware applications within the food and agriculture sector. With more than 15 years’ of experience, he has led teams in fast-paced startup environments, notably serving as the VP of Robotics, Hardware & Automation at Bowery Farming for the past three years. In addition to his compelling track record, he possesses a wealth of experience in managing complex sales pipelines, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property development.
As the current CTO at Phood Solutions, Frankert brings a proven track record and versatile skill set to drive technological innovation, developing transformational food waste tracking solutions. In addition to his role at Phood Solutions, Frankert serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Pittsburgh where he mentors student entrepreneurs for success. Frankert holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh along with an MBA in Data Science and Business Analytics from Santa Clara University.
